Bio

Through compelling storytelling, humour, and a touch of constructive rebellion, Wendy brings complex issues to life for diverse audiences. As South Africa’s first whistleblower in the infamous ‘South Africa’s Enron’ case, she secured justice and transformed adversity into meaningful impact. Wendy studied the social psychology and neuroscience of decision-making at Stanford University and is accredited to train in Courageous Conversations for Social Fitness, developed by Professor Philip Zimbardo.
Wendy is the CEO and founder of SpeakOut SpeakUp, a storytelling and training company that empowers people to lean into good conflict, find courage, and engage in constructive, generative dialogue. Her advocacy for a "Healthy Alternative to Whistleblowing," is rooted in her lived experience.
