Uwem Okon Johnson was born on the 5th of April 1969 in Ikot Obio Ata, Ibesikpo Asutan LGA of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. He attended DOF Institute of Catering and Hotel Management, Ijaije Ojokoro, Lagos State to Study Tourism and Ticketing from 1990 to 1992 which earned him a National Diploma, with the advent of information technology, he also enrolled with Debis Professional Computer Institute, Abuja to study Computer Engineering and Utilization; this also earned him a Diploma in the year 2000 after completing the one-year study. Uwem also holds a Diploma in Journalism from the International Institute of Journalism, Abuja.
