Bio

Wassim is a highly experienced executive with over 19 years of professional experience across the financial services and banking spectrum. He currently serves as Lazard's CEO of MENA, and previously served as CEO of Citi Saudi Arabia and Managing Director of Investment Banking at NCB Capital. His experience includes the execution of landmark transactions totaling over $ 80 billion in value across M&A, capital markets, debt and corporate advisory, notably leading Saudi Aramco's $29.4B IPO in 2019. In addition, Wassim has strong experience in corporate governance through his previous roles as a member of the board and sub-committees of private and listed companies in the MENA region. He is a graduate of the Penn State University and completed GMP at Harvard Business School
