Bio
Dr. Thomas Bieber is a physician scientist who dedicated his scientific life to unravel the complexity of atopic dermatitis, a disease which heavily impacts the quality of life of children and adult patients as well as their relatives. With the support of the Kühne-Foundation Dr. Bieber founded a non-profit biotech company (Davos Bioscience) with the aim to foster the discovery of biomarkers and provide help for the development of innovative therapies for atopic dermatitis. The earnings of the company are 100% invested in a research program. This is a multi-win project: win for the patients, win for the foundation and its support for translational research, win for partners from industry.
