Kanzy El Defrawy, better known as The Flying Daf, is one of the Arab world’s most recognized squash champions, with 220 professional accolades over a 15-year career, culminating in a world ranking high of 22. Born in Egypt, educated in the USA, and now making waves in the UAE, Kanzy’s agility and fearless playing style earned her the moniker she now trades under. She made history in 2016 by winning the USA National Squash Championships, securing the country’s top ranking and solidifying her reputation as a global squash powerhouse. Transitioning from athlete to entrepreneur, Kanzy has taken on the challenge of redefining squash in the UAE.
