Bio
Joshua Flannery is the Founder & CEO of Innovation Dojo Japan, where he builds Japan’s most inclusive tech‑talent pipeline and drives cross‑border startup‑corporate collaboration. He previously served as Director of the 17,000 m² Sydney Startup Hub, crafting programs that supported thousands of founders and cemented the hub as the largest in the Southern Hemisphere. Having orchestrated accelerator cohorts and proof‑of‑concepts for global startups with Japanese giants such as Hankyu, JR West, and Yomiuri Shimbun, he is widely regarded as a bridge between Japan’s corporate sector and international venture ecosystems. Flannery now also shares his expertise as a Visiting Professor at Kansai University of International Studies and Entrepreneur‑in‑Residence for Western Sydney University.
