Jihad Achkar

Bio

Dr. Jihad Achkar, Chairman of Design PRO Companies & university Professor. Dr. Achkar holds a PhD in Architecture and a master in Architecture from ALBA in Beirut. With his keen innovative sense of outstanding design, he traveled extensively, spreading his pioneering designs around the MENA region. He established Design PRO on 2008, a company that offers a multitude of services including architecture, ID, electromechanical, structure, project management and end to end quality control. Using his original designs and futuristic outlook, Design PRO projects spanned on an international level that extend beyond the Levant into the MENA region, Africa and South Asia. Moreover, he has taught several architecture courses and participated in juries at several renowned universities in the ME.
