Bio

Benoît BUTEL is the president of LSN Ré Walbaum, a reinsurance brokerage firm based in Paris. He joined the LSN Assurances group in 2015 after a career at Aon Benfield, before taking the lead of LSN Reassurances and then LSN Ré Walbaum. Under his leadership, LSN Ré Walbaum has established itself as an “entrepreneurial and family-oriented” broker, committed to values of independence, ethics, responsiveness, and client advisory service. He has overseen the refocusing and development of the company’s reinsurance activities, particularly following the acquisition of the former Walbaum IAR firm— a strategic transformation aimed at strengthening the company’s position in the French market.
