Alicia Valdes (b. September 6, 1980) is a global entrepreneur, philanthropist, and top expert in solar technology applied across 18 industries. As the former President and CEO of Bright Solar Systems, she famously managed the $450+ million Encore Solar Park project and advised political figures like President Barack Obama on solar deployment and STEM education. Currently, she serves as the President and CEO of Global Eco Army, an environmental non-profit that has mobilized thousands across 4 continents to plant trees & conduct massive land and water cleanups. Her ambitious initiatives, which include goals to plant 8 billion trees and remove 10% of global ocean plastic, have earned recognition from Tampa Mayor Jane Castor, President Trump & Fl Gov Ron DeSantis as an environmental leader.
