Willi has a strong global network in corporate finance and a successful career as a bank manager, private equity investor, and entrepreneur. Willi began his career in 1978 with IKB in corporate banking. He soon took on responsibilities in project finance, acquisition and infrastructure finance, and went on to head one of IKB's major branches. Willi then led the bank's sector division for energy, telecoms, IT, and transportation. In a subsequent executive role at Postbank-Firmenkunden-AG, Willi was responsible for corporate real estate, project finance, and other areas. Throughout his career, Willi has also managed large financial entities, founded and developed new business units, and gained experience working for international private equity firms.
