Title Tightens Rules, Raising the Stakes for Nominees

Previous seasons saw a concerted effort to democratize the voting process, allowing participation from anyone with a mobile phone. While well-intentioned, this approach inadvertently opened the door to misuse of the voting system. Despite considerable resources invested in combating manipulation and implementing safeguards, attempts to circumvent the rules persisted.

While these attempts underscore the value and prestige associated with the Title, we recognize the need for decisive action to maintain the fairness and transparency of the competition.

Effective December 5, 2024, "WhatsApp" and "Text to Vote" methods will be permanently suspended. Votes cast through these channels prior to the suspension date will remain valid.

New Verification Process:

Going forward, individuals and companies can continue to cast their votes, but will be required to verify them through a PayPal account. This measure adds a layer of accountability to the voting process.

We understand that not everyone has a PayPal account. However, nominees have a variety of performance metrics at their disposal that they can leverage to secure victory. Additionally, users in countries where PayPal is supported can still participate even without an existing account.

Detailed information regarding the updated voting procedures can be found on the nominees' pages.
