Saeed Mokbil, the President of the International Organization for LDCs, with Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council, and former Member of the UN Working Group on the Use of Mercenaries. He has 30 years of professional experience with various senior positions in which he has played significant role in supporting the crisis-affected LDCs in counter-terrorism and in conflict prevention, post-conflict peacebuilding to pave the way for the implementation of SDGs. His participation in the international conferences including, the UN meetings made him prioritize the importance of global cooperation for achieving SDGs, peace, security and sustainable development.
