Bio
Professor Abdullatif AlShamsi is the current President and CEO of the Higher Colleges of Technology. Prof. AlShamsi is Principal Fellow (PFHEA) from Advanced HE in UK, received his Ph.D. from Duke University, USA in 1997 and received his master and Bachelor degree from Boston University. Previously, Prof. AlShamsi was the Managing Director of the Institute of Applied Technology (IAT) for seven years, where he established Applied Technology High Schools, Fatima College for Health Sciences, and Abu Dhabi Polytechnic. During his service at HCT, he managed to generate a profit of nearly 300 million Dirhams to CERT, a commercial arm of HCT, through training and consultancy.
